Credit management firm Anglia UK is further expanding its fleet of trucks in response to growing demand for its transport services.
Following a number of new business wins, four custom-built Mercedes trucks have been added to the fleet. The new trucks – supplied by Intercounty Truck & Van Limited and customised by the Roger Dyson Group – bring Anglia’s fleet up to 19 vehicles from just 12 at the beginning of the year.
Featuring the company’s new 20th anniversary livery, the first of the new trucks will be displayed on the Roger Dyson stand (B105) at the Professional Recovery Tow Show, Telford from Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 September.
Anglia Transport Manager, James Cox, said: “We work for a growing number of clients in the motor finance industry and these trucks have been specially designed to transport their vehicles securely and safely. This additional capacity will also enable us to expand our ‘collect and inspect’ service for end of lease and personal contract plan vehicles.”
Anglia currently transports around 600 vehicles a week and a wider fleet expansion programme is planned for 2018 to keep pace with the ever-increasing customer demand.
Managing Director, Mark Scotney, said: “In the last 20 years we have grown from a small repossession firm to a £7 million turnover business working across the vehicle finance sector. Our growth has been driven by a commitment to openness and honesty with clients and I am delighted that this continues to underpin our success and help win new business.”
As well as vehicle transport and logistics, Anglia provides a number of additional services for vehicle finance providers, including credit management, repossession and auditing. It is also one of a handful of firms to achieve both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 in recognition of its world-class standards.
