Enforcement specialist JBW have announced have acquired Phoenix Commercial. The agreement will create the UK’s second largest enforcement company.

The deal follows an acquisition of the shares in Phoenix by JBW, with funding provided by OUTSOURCING Inc

OUTSOURCING Inc. is a Japanese listed company with headquarters in Tokyo and has expanded its operations internationally in Asia, Oceania, Europe, and Latin America that specialises in both manufacturing and engineering dispatching and outsourcing, IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions. Established in 2004, JBW Group is a trusted collections and enforcement partner to UK Government and a market leading technical innovator in the recovery of unpaid penalties and council and commercial debt.

The Phoenix business will continue to be operated and managed separately to JBW, with its distinct brand, culture, and management team. We will remain focused on providing a professional and flexible enforcement service, a service tailored to the specific needs of our clients.

As clients, there will be no difference in the day-to-day operations. The new investment will, however, allow us to offer improved services to our clients including: Increased IT support & investment in systems, Enhanced access to tracing and data enrichment technology, Input from a wider management team with expertise across multiple sectors, Improved training & development,  Improved business intelligence and enhanced customer profiling, Access to additional investment and group resources.

While the operational leadership of the Phoenix business remains unchanged, Directors Fred Ternent and Howard Jones have taken this opportunity to retire from the business.
