DAS amendment regulations approved by scottish parliament

The legislation for the introduction of The Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2018 has been approved by Scottish parliament and signed by Jamie Hepburn MSP Minister for Business Fair Work and Skills.

The regulations will come into force on 29th October 2018. and will allow for a more sustainable and flexible scheme, making it more accessible for those struggling with debt.

Guidance will be updated to include the provisions being brought in by the legislation.
