Target Group announces partnership with Information Builders

11th July 2018

Target Group has announced it has exclusively partnered with Information Builders, a leading business intelligence, analytics and data management platform provider, to build out and enhance its data capabilities and service offerings.

Initially a two-year deal, Target will have full access to Information Builders’ extensive data platform to drive business process efficiencies, while also giving Target the ability to develop enhanced data-driven services and solutions for the financial services industry.

In addition to this, Target will bring exciting new data services to market from mid-2018. The services will transform data into actionable insights, provide a single, consistent high definition view of customers and their journeys across all products and channels. This will dramatically enhance customer experience, as well as provide deeper insight into products, services, operations, finance, risk and compliance. First to market will be a new data quality and remediation service, ‘Target Entrust’ that will help to drive regulatory compliance and high-quality customer data into operational systems,  so essential for enabling new digital financial services.

Information Builders’ technology will also enable Target’s clients to have the ability to interact with its data in a fast and secure way enabling more meaningful customer relationships whilst providing a unique data-driven experience.

Martin Houghton, Chief Digital Officer at Target Group, said “We are delighted to be partnering with Information Builders, a leading provider of solutions for enabling a data-driven enterprise. The regulatory agenda has forced financial services providers to sit up and look at their data in a way they have never had to before, and we believe that our track record along with this partnership with Information Builders will help them effectively and efficiently manage that change within their organisations.”

“Speaking to our clients they have the ambition of enabling and fully utilising consistent and reliable data across their businesses. Combining our financial services expertise and deep enterprise data knowledge with Information Builder’s 40-year heritage will allow our clients to drive efficiencies at a low cost whilst significantly improve their offerings.”

Brian Joynt, Vice President, EMEA for Information Builders added “Target Group selected Information Builders’ as its standard data management & analytics platform in support of its growing Data Practice.  The now formalized partnership between us brings together 38 years of Financial Services delivery expertise and know-how, with 40 years of world-leading technology innovation.  Financial services & banking customers from both organisations will now benefit from a unique value proposition that centres on providing the software platform together with the subject matter experience, in order to deliver a fully connected enterprise where all data efforts are joined up and aligned to the hitting of strategic goals.”
