Advanced Collections Systems (ACS) has been examined by the Government’s National Cyber Security Centre and given a Cyber Essentials certification.

Cyber Essentials certification is mandatory for central government contracts which involve handling personal information and providing certain ICT products and services.  Certification demonstrates that Advanced Collection Systems (ACS), which specialises in providing debt collection services to the UK’s utility companies and other businesses in government regulated sectors, is able to meet the high cybersecurity standards required by government and business alike.

Lisa Phillips, Managing Director of ACS, said “Certification is an essential requirement for ACS.  We provide some of the UK’s leading companies with debt recovery services which means handling personal information and other sensitive data on their behalf.  They expect, quite rightly, that we do this securely.  Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates that we do this to a standard which passes scrutiny by the government’s National Security Centre”
