The High Court Enforcement Officers Association (HCEOA) has announced that David Asker, Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer (AHCEO) and Director of Corporate Governance at The Sheriffs Office has been elected to join the board.
The HCEOA, formerly The Sheriffs Officers Association, was founded 130 years ago, with its core aim to represent its entire members and provide a voice to Government. The HCEOA also works with Government by improving and implementing changes to current and proposed regulations.
Asker began his career in High Court enforcement over 30 years ago and was a Sheriffs Officer for the City of London, Greater London and Surrey. He was appointed an Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer by Senior Master Turner in March 2004. Asker also holds the position of Serjeant-at-Mace for the City of London.
Commenting on his appointment David Asker said “I’m delighted to be joining the board at this time of promising change with the current Taking Control of Goods review. I look forward to working alongside my fellow directors and being more closely involved with the work of the HCEOA”.
