Trade credit insurer, Euler Hermes has appointed Andrew Hodson as Director of Risk, Information, Claims and Collections (RICC) of UK & Ireland.

Hodson will be responsible for implementing the RICC strategy, managing risk underwriting, delivering operational targets and representing the function when engaging with key stakeholders.

Hodson returns to Euler Hermes’ UK and Irish business having previously overseen its portfolio of £15bn-worth of trade credit insurance across the North of England, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Most recently, he headed up Euler Hermes group risk steering and strategy, based in its head office in Paris, driving and developing the firm’s global risk underwriting capabilities.

He re-joins the UK & Ireland team with more than 30 years’ experience in financial services and insurance, having started his career at Euler Hermes as a graduate in 1990.
