Law firm Freeths has announced it has appointed Isobel Callaghan as a senior associate to its restructuring and insolvency team in Sheffield.
Callaghan has joined from Lupton Fawcett, bringing more than nine years’ experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. Callaghan has advised on corporate insolvencies, including administrations, liquidations and CVAs, and complex bankruptcy matters, including dealing with potential claims for preferences and transactions at undervalue and misfeasance actions.
John May, Managing Partner for Yorkshire and the North West at Freeths, said “We are delighted to welcome Isobel to the firm. Isobel brings with her a wealth of experience to expand the team’s already extensive restructuring and insolvency capability in Yorkshire, developed by Oliver Jackson.”
“Isobel is part of our commitment to recruit and retain the highest calibre lawyers in the city and, as a result, the team continues to see fantastic growth, providing first class advice to our impressive range of clients. We know Isobel will be a valuable resource for our clients.”
