Corclaim, the specialist division of law firm Shakespeare Martineau dedicated to loss recovery for businesses, is launching a suite of new recovery specialisms in response to market demand after rapid expansion from its Corclaim uninsured loss recovery specialism. Clients will now have the benefit of easier access to multiple recovery services and will be looked after by one team working closely together with a complete and commercial view of the particular loss recovery challenges their businesses face.
Debt recovery and asset recovery have recently been added to the suite of services, with costs drafting & negotiation will going live in the next fortnight.
The aim of the launch is to create a platform for Corclaim to attract acquisition targets to support Corclaim’s strategic aim of doubling turnover by 2021. Corclaim is actively seeking niche recovery firms/teams or technological start-ups that like the idea of moving to a business that puts recovery specialisms at the heart of everything it does. Specialist teams, firms and start-ups interested in joining Corclaim on their journey will benefit from being part of a like-minded team that strives to support clients with large scale and repeated legal needs.
Commenting on this relaunch, Mark Merrell from Corclaim, said “Over the last few years the Corclaim business has grown rapidly. That growth has been built on our core philosophy which is to understand and deliver what our client’s demand and why they instruct us. This expansion of services is in direct response to this demand and the launch of these additional services under the Corclaim brand provides clients with a holistic service, with all their recovery needs under one roof. Our teams are unique in the legal marketplace – we’re entrenched in the specific sectors which require these services thereby meaning that each team is truly expert in their own area.”
“Bringing them together allows each to benefit from the expertise of the other where there is some cross over of knowledge as well as allowing us to benefit more from economies of scale enabling us to work more effectively, efficiently and so keeping costs to the client as low as possible. But critically, it puts these services in one place for our clients as we aim to become the go to brand for business who require support in these areas.”
