The Credit & Collections Technology Awards, which recognises technological innovation in the credit and collections industry for companies and individuals who have done the most outstanding work in the past year is set to announce the winners via an online webinar ceremony on Thursday 19th November.
This year’s online Awards ceremony will replace the face-to-face ceremony which was set to take place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, which is now anticipated to be the host venue for the 2021 event instead.
The decision was taken following the latest increase in Government measures against the unpredictable COVID 19 pandemic and following feedback from this year’s finalist who were expected to attend.
Colin White Founder of Credit Connect which facilitates the Awards said “We are disappointed that we cannot host the Awards this year as a face-to-face ceremony and distribute the accolades for innovation in the traditional way. Having the Awards online is the only option we have to ensure we highlight the 2020 achievers. It is has been a difficult year for everyone, but hopefully, by announcing the Awards online we can provide some much-needed good news to the 2020 industry innovators..”
“We have a produced a plan on how to best present the Awards online so that we can try and create some buzz and excitement leading up to the announcements, so we hope people will tune into the live ceremony online to see who has won”
This year the Awards received almost 115 entries from 84 companies across 19 categories, and have now been whittled down to the best entries in each category, who will be our 2020 finalists.
The independent judges have almost completed the winner’s list.
The event will kick-off at 2.45 pm on Thursday 19th November and will be FREE to attend. More details about the online event will be confirmed soon.
Immediately after the Awards attendees will be able to view this year’s Winners reports and entrants will be able to request individual entry reports and analyse their performance through a uniquely designed insight report.
