The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) has announced that Chief Executive Officer John Govett has resigned from his role due to an impending family relocation.
Govett has led the team to transform MaPS, successfully integrating three services into one, focused on delivering our vision of everyone making the most of their money and pensions. His significant achievements include the production of the transitional business plan for 2019/20, the ongoing UK-wide 10 city listening phase with stakeholders and our new MaPS branding.
The Board has appointed Caroline Siarkiewicz, currently, Partnerships and Commissioning Director at MaPS, to be acting Chief Executive whilst it conducts its search process for a permanent appointment. The appointment will be open to both internal and external candidates and recruitment will commence very shortly.
Sir Hector Sant Chair of MaPS said “I would like to thank John for his huge personal effort to help bring together our three legacy organisations into one new one.”
