Christians Against Poverty (CAP) has announced the appointment of Gareth McNab as its new Director of External Affairs.
McNab brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 17 years’ experience in the financial services sector. From starting a debt advice arm of a small charity 15 years ago, he’s worked in a voluntary capacity with Citizens Advice and Community Money Advice while developing his career at two large building societies.
His most recent role as Money Advice Liaison Manager at Nationwide Building Society and leading Open Banking for Good. He led much of their work on supporting customers in financial difficulty while engaging with policymakers and practitioners across the debt advice, financial services and political spheres.
McNab begins the role on 11th January.
