Credit Connect Media will host the latest edition of its Connected News digital free live webinar series on Wednesday 14th July.

The webinar titled “Delivering responsible vulnerable communications” will be the latest in the series of webinars looking at the latest thematic innovations enhancing collections strategy.

Speakers from Lowell and the Lending Standards Board will join sponsor Revive Management, who will Chair the session, along with Credit Connect to discuss the strategies related to delivering responsible vulnerable communications.

Connected News speaker Chair for the event James Donohue, Head of Client Engagement at Revive Management said “The pandemic has really shone a light on the extent vulnerability across the UK and created an urgency for businesses to implement additional communication channels to provide increased support and access for their customers – but once those strategies are in place, how do we make sure those solutions are effective for more than just the bottom line, ensuring they build trust where face to face interaction is limited or non-existent. I’m looking forward to hearing how other companies in the industry are tackling these challenges, and what more can be done. ”

Whilst panel speaker Anna Roughley Head of Insight and Support at Lending Standards Board said  “The impact of the global pandemic has created many challenges for both people and businesses over the last year. This is especially true for those considered vulnerable customers, with self-isolation, bank branch closures, and economic uncertainty posing a significant threat to financial wellbeing. From banks, fintechs, and financial services providers alike helping their staff to better identify and support vulnerable customers, to the FCA’s upcoming consultation paper on consumer duty, we’re seeing the industry take steps in the right direction. But are vulnerable customers being supported at every stage of the payments journey? Are the correct governance and oversight frameworks being implemented effectively? And how will the industry respond when government-backed initiatives such as the Recovery Loan Scheme wind down? I’m delighted to be part of such an important conversation at what is a pivotal time for the industry.”

The webinar event will take place on Wednesday 14th July at 10am (BST) and is FREE to attend for qualifying attendees.

The webinar will look beyond the metrics, how can businesses make sure their vulnerability strategies and/or PSR are working?

It will address feedback a d action plans,  what are the key questions, challenges that customers are struggling with – and how do you provide support for these? Is it changing how your company does business? Also building trust, How do businesses develop trust digitally?
