Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA UK) UK & Ireland has appointed Arnaud Leclerc as Managing Director (MD), effective immediately. He has replaced Ashley Andrew, who left the company after a tenure of approximately a year and a half.

Leclerc has previously held a number of senior management roles in Britain and across Europe, including in France, Scandinavia and Croatia. He has most recently held the roles of deputy director general at PSA Groupe UK, and DS brand development director UK.

Leclerc said: “Every market I’ve worked in has been unique and this will be no different. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead, and to growing our business in the UK market even further. I’m also pleased to be working with some excellent new products such as Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia, Fiat Tipo and Jeep Compass.”

At FCA UK he will oversee operations for all the companies functions and brands throughout the UK and Ireland, and report directly to Alfredo Altavilla, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ chief operating officer, EMEA region.

FCA’ UKs Global Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne confirmed at the Detroit Auto Show his plans to step down next year, after what will have been a decade in charge of the carmaker. He said he planned to name his successor in the second half of 2018.
