A record number of entries have been reported for this year’s Credit and Collections Technology Awards, devised by Credit Connect and hosted by the Credit Services Association (CSA), as part of their annual conference and gala dinner.

In total, 91 companies have entered the awards in 20 categories which include recognising best-in-class solutions across complex issues such as affordability, customer engagement and compliance. As well as recognising businesses, the awards also recognise teams and individuals who have created technological innovation.

This year has seen a 10% increase in companies entering the awards and a 30% increase in companies downloading the entry forms. The official awards shortlist will be announced next week.

Colin White Founding Director of the Credit & Collections Technology Awards said “It is fantastic to see so many new entries into this year’s awards. We have had over 140 entries so the judges have a big job in selecting the winners. It is great to see some of last year’s entrants requesting their personalised company post-awards reports to enhance their entry for this year. I am really looking forward to this year’s event and announcing the winners in Newcastle.”

Colleen Peel, Head of Marketing and Events at the CSA, said “Following the huge success of UKCCC and Credit and Collections Technology Awards 2018, it is great to see more engagement and more companies submitting award entries, including a diverse mix of some familiar names and exciting newcomers to the industry.”

The Credit and Collections Technology Awards is part of the UK Credit & Collections Conference (UKCCC) being held at the Crowne Plaza, Newcastle Upon Tyne, on Thursday 12 September 2019.
