The Credit Services Association (CSA) has been shortlisted by the Trade Association Forum (TAF) in its Best Practice Awards 2019 for the Skills Development Award. The TAF has shortlisted the CSA for its work in helping to develop the next generation of credit and collections professionals and for supporting best practice in Compliance, Risk and Credit Control and Collections.
Following the CSA’s appointment as an Apprenticeship Main Provider on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) the Association has continued to demonstrate its investment in Skills Development. Central to this has been a new apprenticeship standard for Financial Services and Regulatory Compliance, as well as its new standard for the debt collection/debt purchase industry.
It is currently delivering just under 150 apprenticeships across 50 organisations, including major industry players, well-known PLCs and government bodies. It has similarly enhanced its benchmark Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI) , which is an online test which examines 6,000 registered users, to ensure employees in the industry keep pace with constantly changing regulation.
Fiona Macaskill Head of Learning & Development at the CSA said “In addition to the Apprenticeships, we have now seen more than 500 learners complete their qualifications through the CSA.”
