The seventh virtual Collections Technology Think Tank will feature a number of discussions to understand the best possible collection strategies within a challenging economic environment.

The Think Tank’s aim is to create an engaging environment with the aim of enabling all participants to learn about change within collections and the role technology and innovation have to play in an ever-changing environment. The last event was attended by just over 240 collections professionals across four streams.

The next edition of the event will explore conversations around the collections strategies as the UK begins to get to grips with consumer duty and rising the cost of living challenges

Lenders, creditors and collections specialists will discuss, debate and dissect regulatory and thematic business challenges assessing collections processes and strategies.

The event will focus on panel discussions across a number of thematic collections issues with the aim of problem-solving and examining how companies can utilise people and technological innovations effectively.

  • 9.30am: Opening remarks from Credit Connect and Chair. Introduction and overview of the event line-up.

  • 9.40am:  Collections Challenges:  Measurement of collections risks. What are the challenges? What is the role for data and technology? SPEAKERS: Richard Fenton from Zinc Group, Nick Rowe from CallMiner, Gareth McNabb from Christians Against Poverty.

  • 10.45am: Business Transformation. Adapting to change. How to best deal with regulatory challenges such as consumer duty mixed in with economic changes such as the cost of living and its impact on strategy.  SPEAKERS: Neha Bhat from Chase, Daniel Calcott from The Digital DRA, Kevin Still from DEMSA.

  • 11.55am: Customer Engagement. What are the best engagement tools? How can companies create the best engagement strategies? How can we maintain a good balance between people and technology and focus on the best customer outcome?   • 12.45pm LUNCH BREAK

SESSION 4 

  • 1.00pm Customer vulnerability. How can vulnerability be identified? How can we best speed up and recognise vulnerability in the collections?
