Shawbrook makes new Senior Director appointment to Healthcare team

Shawbrook has expanded its Healthcare Lending team with the appointment of Emma Glynn as Senior Director. Emma joins to strengthen our ThinCats Healthcare proposition, whilst having responsibility for originating opportunities across both the Shawbrook and ThinCats Healthcare platforms.

Glynn brings more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare property and governance leader, having advised providers, investors, and lenders across the UK and Europe. She spent 23 years at JLL, including five years leading the Healthcare Advisory team from 2020 to 2025. Glynn has also built significant board experience, including nearly seven years as a Non-Executive Director at Somerset Care and, more recently, as its Senior Independent Director.  She has also previously served on the Board of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

This experience has allowed Glynn to build a reputation for providing independent valuation, market intelligence, and strategic risk advice on some of the UK’s most significant healthcare portfolios.

The appointment reinforces Shawbrook’s commitment to providing deep sector expertise and tailored finance solutions to the UK’s healthcare and social care sectors.
