BPI acquires stake debt recovery specialist

16th October 2026

Yorkshire-based asset valuation and disposal specialists BPI and BPI Asset Advisory have acquired a significant stake in McQueen Partnership, the Leeds-based debt recovery and credit control specialist.

The investment brings debt recovery and credit management under the BPI umbrella for the first time. Insolvency practitioners, lenders, asset-based lenders and accountants can now turn to one place to value and realise physical assets and to recover book debts, helping them return more value to creditors and clients.

For McQueen Partnership, the deal provides investment, infrastructure and access to BPI’s established national client base to accelerate its growth.

Founded in 2023 by Nathan McQueen, who has more than 30 years’ experience in credit control and insolvency debt recovery, McQueen Partnership provides debt recovery, credit control, telephone debt verification, virtual credit control management and credit management consultation. It works with SMEs, corporates, sole traders, accountants, insolvency practitioners, banks and asset-based lenders from its Leeds offices.

Andy Cromack, Managing Director of BPI Asset Advisory, said “Insolvency practitioners and lenders want to maximise recoveries quickly, with as few moving parts as possible. Book debts are often a significant part of what can be recovered, and having McQueen Partnership’s specialist team alongside our valuation and disposal service means we can now support our clients across both. Their experience in insolvency debt recovery speaks for itself, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Nathan and the team.”

Nathan McQueen, Founder and Managing Director of McQueen Partnership, said “This is a huge moment for McQueen Partnership. BPI shares our values and our clients, and their backing gives us the platform to grow faster and help many more businesses get paid. Our clients will see the same team and the same straight-talking service, now with the strength of a respected group behind us.”
