Tax and business advisory firm Azets has announced that it has acquired Moore South’s restructuring & insolvency (R&I) team.
As part of the deal, current leaders of Moore South’s R&I practice, Duncan Swift and Chris Tate, will move to Azets.
The acquisition includes the team’s current clients and will enhance Azets’ restructuring and insolvency national capabilities established in London and the South-East, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Azets says that the acquisition creates a significant ‘one-stop-shop’ presence for Azets The company says that the R&I team also offers specialist advisory services to assist organisations in making better long term and effective, strategic business decisions. These services include debt restructuring, refinancing and forensic investigation.
R&I clients span sectors ranging from food and agriculture, hotels, healthcare, property & construction, manufacturing, engineering and professional services and will complement Azets’ already well-established offices in the region.
Moore’s R&I team, specialises in helping companies experiencing financial distress or facing closure with restructuring and rescue options.
