Callcredit Information Group, has announced its software engineering graduate scheme. After a successful launch last year with 11 graduates placed, the Leeds-headquartered company is once again looking for university graduates with the ambition and talent to become part of Callcredit’s innovative product development team. The scheme is offering 12 graduates, in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths (STEM), or a related subject, across its Leeds and Stockport offices, the opportunity to launch their careers as associate engineers specialising in either software development or testing.
Working in partnership with QA, a UK training provider, the scheme is set to start in September 2017 and will provide graduates with the skills needed for a well-grounded career in software development and testing. The successful graduates will receive a bespoke three-month technical and professional training programme followed by 12 to 18 months structured coaching and career development support.
Julie Wright, HR Director, Callcredit Information Group said: “Following the success of last year’s software engineering graduate scheme, we’re delighted to be able to provide this opportunity to a new intake of graduates. We’re looking for the next generation of talent and want graduates that have a curiosity for new technologies and techniques, and an enthusiasm for software engineering to apply. As one of the largest UK tech hubs outside London, there is a huge demand in Leeds for STEM skills and more and more digital and technology firms are locating to the area. We understand the importance of helping to reduce the skills gap in the region and invest in developing future talent.”
