Callcredit raises £30,000 for Yorkshire Cancer Research

Callcredit Information Group have presented a cheque for £30,392 to Yorkshire Cancer Research following a year of fundraising. Rebecca Aberdein, Head of Talent Acquisition & Engagement at Callcredit, said: “We have a strong history of supporting charities in the communities in which we are based. When we asked colleagues to vote for their annual charity in 2016, the response was overwhelming in support of Yorkshire Cancer Research.

“People really got behind the fundraising activities and it was great that Callcredit was able to support their efforts with a matched funding donation. We were all thrilled that we raised over £30,000 – this surpassed our expectations. Thank you to all colleagues who contributed in some way. It has been great understanding all about the fantastic work Yorkshire Cancer Research does and being able to support the positive impact the charity has.”
