TDX Group raises over £95,000 for charities

TDX Group has  announce a successful year of fundraising in 2016. The company’s 360 employees helped raise £95,000 for charities in and around the East Midlands. £86,600 of the total amount raised will go to its charity of the year, the Children’s Bereavement Centre, enabling it to offer even more support to local children who are impacted by the death, terminal illness and divorce or separation of someone close.

Laurence Hamilton, General Manager at TDX Group, said: “I’m staggered and so pleased by the enormous amount of generosity from my colleagues, plus our partners and suppliers. I’m delighted that, once again, we’ve managed to raise such a life-changing amount of money. A massive thank you to everyone who has helped support these amazing charities and I’m personally very proud of the work TDX Group do for our local community; and the enthusiasm, creativity and passion with which it is delivered. This amazing result emphasises the core and heart of our culture of earning the trust of our clients, their customers and the communities we serve.”

Caroline Froggatt, Corporate and Community Engagement Coordinator at the Children’s Bereavement Centre, said: “We’re genuinely shocked and delighted by the level of support the fabulous team at TDX Group have provided us with for the second year running. Not only have they raised another HUGE amount of money for us but they’ve also helped to raise our profile and increase our confidence as an organisation. The support that they’ve given us does not happen often and words cannot express how grateful we’re to everyone within the organisation.

“Thanks to the fundraising efforts of TDX Group, we’ve been able to expand our services throughout Nottinghamshire. This year we opened Outreach Centres in Bassetlaw and Rushcliffe, employed two Outreach Bereavement and Loss Coordinators to run these new Centres and have also recruited 12 more clinical volunteers. The money raised this year will enable us to develop more one-to-one and group support at our new Outreach Centres, offering all the services we do at our Newark office at all of our other Centres too.”
