Metro Bank appoints Corporate and Commercial Managing Director

Metro Bank has announced it has appointed Andy Veares as its new Managing Director for Corporate and Commercial subject to regulatory approval.

Veares has been at the bank since 2012 most recently as Director of Large Trading Businesses.

With over 30 years business and commercial banking experience, Andy’s new role sees him take responsibility for the bank’s corporate and SME customers. Veares also joins the Bank’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining Metro Bank, Veares held a number of senior commercial banking roles at HSBC.
