Money Wellness has strengthened its external relations department with two key appointments.
Adam Rolfe has joined as Public Affairs Officer to help inform and support the new government as they develop and change policies that impact the individuals and families supported by Money Wellness. Rolfe will be supporting policymakers by providing real time data and insights to inform them on issues such as cost of living pressures, energy arrears and the rise of buy-now-pay-later debt. With experience working in Parliament and local government, Rolfe has a good working knowledge of the issues and information that will support policymakers to drive positive change.
Meanwhile, Matthew Sheeran has been appointed as Collaboration Partner. Sheeran will be working with external partners to ensure they have the information and support they need to create seamless journeys into debt advice for their customers. Sheeran joins the team with five years’ experience as a frontline debt adviser and understands the immediate and positive impact our support can provide to individuals and families in financial difficulty.
Ian Somerset, Chief Executive at Money Wellness, said “We have a duty to ensure that the needs and experiences of the people we support are highlighted to those in a position to create change. Moreover, as organisations increasingly recognise that immediate access to good debt advice should be a core part of their support offering, we need to expand our team to meet that demand and ensure seamless referral routes are available for a wide variety of partners.
Both Adam and Matthew bring with them a breadth of experience and knowledge that will greatly benefit our external stakeholders and partners.”
