Opus makes South East Director appointment

Opus Restructuring and Insolvency has announced that it has appointed Rob McIlroy as Director.

McIlroy has more than 15 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency; he has worked across a broad range of sectors, including construction, media and professional services, advising businesses, lenders, directors and stakeholders through financially challenging situations. His career has spanned both boutique and national firms, giving him extensive experience across the full spectrum of corporate recovery and turnaround work.

McIlroy began his career working within insolvency law before moving into corporate restructuring and insolvency practice, later qualifying as an Insolvency Practitioner. His experience includes advising on complex corporate matters, business rescue, formal insolvency procedures and stakeholder negotiations.

At Opus, McIlroy will lead efforts to further establish the firm’s presence across Essex, building relationships with accountants, legal professionals and business owners, while working closely with colleagues across the wider South East network, including the firm’s established Kent presence.
