Russell-Cooke Solicitors has announced that it has recruited Simon Jerrum as its new Head of Restructuring and Insolvency.
Jerrum is a highly regarded insolvency lawyer, with particular expertise in complex contentious insolvency disputes often involving concurrent proceedings in multiple jurisdictions and the recovery of assets based overseas.
Jerrum is a solicitor-advocate qualified in England and Wales and is also admitted to practise in the British Virgin Islands. He has almost 15 years’ experience, having previously practised at international law firms including Shearman & Sterling, Norton Rose Fulbright and HFW. His appointment follows the arrival of senior associate Lucy Hannett to the restructuring and insolvency team in January 2024.
John Gould, Senior Partner at Russell-Cooke said “Simon brings great experience and unsurpassed expertise to our restructuring and insolvency practice. He increases our capacity to deal with the most complex and challenging matters including those with an international element. The team is very focussed on further growth and I know Simon has the energy and expertise to lead them to great things.”
