Scottish business insolvencies fall by 15%

Latest figures from Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) have shown that business insolvencies in Scotland fell by 15% in January 2024

The data showed that there were 75 business insolvencies registered in Scotland, 15% lower than the number in January 2024.

The business insolvencies was comprised of 37 CVLs, 32 compulsory liquidations and six administrations. There were no CVAs or receivership appointments.
