Economy shrank by 0.1% in January – industry reaction

Latest data from Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that the economy fell 0.1% in January. GDP had been expected to rise 0.1% month-on-month. SMEs profits increase by 7.3%

Profits at USMEs increased by 7.3% year-on-year in Q4 2024, according to Sage’s small business tracker. This is down from 8.2% in Q3 and 8.6% in Q2.
