Opus Restructuring and Insolvency has announced that it has strengthened its advisory and insolvency offering with the appointment of experienced partner Simon Campbell, as the firm continues to expand its South Coast presence.
Based in Southampton, Campbell brings more than 30 years of experience advising businesses, lenders and stakeholders across a wide range of sectors. He joins Opus following a decade at his previous firm, where he built a strong reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused advice to mid-market and SME clients.
His expertise spans early-stage advisory, business and options reviews, and formal insolvency processes. He is particularly well known for his work on complex property matters, including build-outs and fractional investment schemes, supporting lenders, developers and wider property stakeholders.
At Opus, Campbell will work alongside Mike Field and Andrew Watling to continue developing the Southampton office into a significant regional hub. The office represents Opus’ 15th location and forms a key part of the firm’s ongoing national growth strategy.
Tim Dolder, Managing Partner at Opus, added, “Simon’s appointment is another important step in strengthening our South Coast presence. His depth of experience, particularly in complex property and advisory work, complements our existing team perfectly. Just as importantly, he shares our values around delivering clear, commercial advice and building long-term relationships. We’re delighted to welcome him to the partnership as we continue to grow the Southampton office.”
