Yü Energy makes business customers acquisition

Yü Energy have announced the acquisition of Bristol Energy’s business customer base.

Bristol Energy which is owned by Bristol City Council is a national gas and electricity company supplying 4000 business meter points.

Earlier this year Bristol City Council announced its intention to put Bristol Energy up for sale. The council says that an extensive review has been conducted to find the right business to business buyer to continue delivering an excellent business energy service for Bristol Energy customers whilst making a positive difference in the local community.

Yü Energy, which is part of Yü Group PLC, is a specialist business energy and water supplier operating throughout the UK, supplying over 9000 business meters. Bristol Energy customers will benefit from the unique multi-utility offer covering electricity, gas and water supply as well as solutions including electric vehicle charging stations, the business smart meter roll out and the choice of 100% green electricity plans.
