Credit Connect Media has announced that it will launch a new Technology & Services Industry Leaders list at its Autumn event series, which also features the Credit & Collections Think Tank and Commercial Credit & Collections Conference, followed by the 2026 Credit & Collections Technology Awards.
The events will take place on Wednesday, 18th November and Thursday, 19th November at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
The new list will recognise and champion Technology & Service leaders who contribute to positive industry change and are making a measurable difference in their credit and collections sector. They have been identified as influencing the future of credit and collections technology and services. The list is compiled by Credit Connect upon a set of pre-qualifying criteria, which is then ratified by Credit Connect’s consultancy panel.
The list starts with the Credit Connect team collating information about senior individuals in the credit and collections industry throughout the year which is based on the following criteria: Representation in industry news (setting new agendas and announcing key industry partnerships) and engagement with the media, Senior responsibility and oversight for influencing technology and service industry enhancement and change, Visually seen to be attending and/or supporting industry events, Presenting thought leadership topics and Industry recognition at events. This will also include performance at technology and services awards events, which take place throughout the year. The new launch follows the success of the Industry Leaders list, first announced in 2025.
Qualifying professionals will be informed by email by the end of August. This will be followed by a networking Technology & Services dinner event on Wednesday, 18th November, where the 2026 list will be formally shared. This will be invite-only for qualifying professionals.
Each year, the leader’s status on the list will be reviewed and revised. In future years, a nomination process will be launched for professionals who wish to explore potentially being included on future lists. These nominations will be reviewed annually by Credit Connect and its supporting consultancy panel network. The final list will be broken down into different sectors within the Technology & Services industry, with leaders appearing under relevant sectors.
In addition to the list, each year will include a special announcement recognising one person with a Technology & Services Industry Lifetime Achievement award, providing recognition of an individual’s contribution to the industry. This will also be announced at the Technology & Services networking dinner.
Colin White, Founder at Credit Connect Media, said, “I’m pleased to share news on our new initiative, which was created by the success of our first-ever Industry Leaders dinner back in May. The list is an opportunity to highlight the true industry influencers and innovators in the technology and services sectors within credit and collections. I look forward to formally sharing the first annual list in November. In future years, we will open up the list for nominations and review and evolve the list each year.”
The Technology & Services Industry Leaders list will be updated annually, every November, to ensure the index remains a current and accurate reflection of the most notable qualifying leaders. A web page for the Technology & Services leaders will be launched soon. The key elements related to eligibility for individuals to be included on the list will be available on the dedicated webpage. At the beginning of 2027, individuals will also be allowed to nominate to appear on the 2027 list. Details will be available on the Industry Leaders website.
