Debt collection and purchase industry body, CSA Credit Services Association (CSA), has announced that is hasappointed Harvey Watson as Learning and Development Director.
Watson is a previous CSA tutor specialising in risk & compliance apprenticeships in both the public and private sector, Harvey also spent thirty-one, high performing years, in Senior Management and Leadership with Halifax Bank.
Watson will lead the growth and development of the CSA’s high-quality training arm, CSA Learning* and will succeed Fiona Macaskill who stepped down from the role earlier this year. He will oversee the award-winning CSA L&D team to develop and execute the training business’s strategies. He will also implement comprehensive commercial, operational, and quality plans to facilitate achievement and report business performance to the board of the association.
Welcoming Watson into the role, CSA CEO Chris Leslie said “I am delighted that Harvey agreed to take on the L&D director position – his skills as an expert coach and sales manager, and an articulate, trained presenter and communicator made him the stand out candidate. He is the ideal person to build on the progress that Fiona and the Association have made during the last number of years across the L&D side of the business, and in particular, since becoming an approved apprenticeship training provider in 2017.”
