Jinks announces two senior professional appointments

14th September 2026

Neil Jinks has been appointed Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) and re-elected Chair of the Civil Court Users Association (CCUA), marking a significant week in his long-standing service to the credit profession and civil justice community.

His appointment as CICM Vice President follows the completion of his term as Chair of the Institute’s Executive Board of Trustees. Having been part of CICM and the credit profession for almost four decades, Neil will continue to support the Institute, its members and the wider profession.

Commenting on his appointment,  Jinks said “I am delighted and deeply honoured to have been appointed Vice President of CICM. The Institute and the credit profession have played an enormously important part in my life and career for almost four decades.

“I look forward to remaining an active ambassador for CICM, supporting its members and continuing to give something back to the profession that has given me so much.”

Jinks was also re-elected Chair of the Civil Court Users Association at its AGM, held as part of the Association’s National Virtual Meeting.

The CCUA represents organisations and professionals who use and depend upon the civil courts, providing a collective voice for court users and working collaboratively with policymakers, the judiciary, HMCTS and other stakeholders.

Following his re-election Jinks said: “It is a privilege to have been re-elected Chair of the CCUA, and I am grateful to our members for placing their continued trust in me.

“I would also like to thank everyone who attended our AGM and National Virtual Meeting. I look forward to working with our members, fellow officers and wider stakeholders over the coming year to represent court users and support improvements across the civil justice system.”
