Transave Credit Union appoints Non-Executive Director

Transave Credit Union has abbiyunced that it has appointed fintech and consumer finance executive Jake Ransonas as a Non-Executive Director.

The appointment comes as the UK’s credit union sector is entering a period of significant expansion. Adult membership reached 2.16 million in 2025, while the recently launched Credit Union Growth Plan sets an ambitious target to double membership to 4.4 million by 2035, treble lending to £8 billion, and build on the sector’s £4.91 billion asset base.

Ranson has held board and senior management function roles across Experian and ClearScore. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Authorised Payment Institution Paylink, which was acquired by Experian in December 2024. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing products and services that improve financial mobility and deliver better outcomes for consumers.
