Moore Kingston Smith appoints Restructuring and Insolvency Partner

Moore Kingston Smith has announced it has appointed David Smithson as a Restructuring and Insolvency Partner, strengthening the practical support available to businesses, directors and lenders primarily across the South, as well as in London, as they navigate financial pressure and uncertainty.

Smithson has 37 years’ experience in the profession, including 22 years as a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He specialises in corporate insolvency and business advisory, including insolvency appointments, refinancing and turnaround situations.

He works primarily with SMEs and owner-managed businesses across hospitality and leisure, construction, transport, care and the charity sector. Working with colleagues across the firm’s southern offices, he will help develop new and existing client relationships and support the continued growth of Moore Kingston Smith’s restructuring and insolvency practice in the region.
