Personal insolvency provider Carrington Dean has announced that has acquired personal insolvency business, Cleanslate from Interpath.
Cleanslate is part of Interpath, an international advisory firm which specialises in the provision of advisory and restructuring services to businesses, their investors and their stakeholders.
Carrington Dean is based in Scotland and is part of the Creditfix Group.
Pearse Flynn, Founder of the Creditfix Group said “This acquisition is a great step forward for Carrington Dean. We’ve long been committed to helping people across Scotland find sustainable solutions to debt, and acquiring this book of personal insolvency clients from Interpath will allow us to assist even more individuals in need. At a time when financial pressures are mounting for many, the demand for expert financial advice continues to grow and we are ready to meet it head-on.”
“We are delighted to integrate this portfolio into our operations. Our focus has always been on providing tailored, simplified solutions to people who are struggling with debt. Through this acquisition, we will continue to be a support for many, helping them resolve their problem debt.”
Mark Raddan, CEO of Interpath, said “Since being established alongside Interpath in 2021, Cleanslate has helped over 3,000 individuals in Scotland to manage their debt.
“However, as part of our strategy and focus on rapidly growing and expanding our suite of services aimed at corporates, their investors and stakeholders – not just here in the UK, but internationally – we have taken the decision to cease our provision of B2C personal debt solutions in Scotland. We are therefore pleased to have signed this agreement with Carrington Dean which will ensure that customers will continue to receive the specialist support they need in managing their personal finances.”
