Lloyds Banking Group Motor Finance and Leasing has announced two new senior appointments.

Meryem Brassington has been appointed as Electrification Propositions Lead whilst Iryna Kocharova has been appointed as Head of Corporate Customer Journey and Sustainability.

The bank says that the appointments reinforce the group’s commitment to a green transition, pledging to reduce the carbon emissions it finances by more than 50% by 2030.

Funding more than 1.3m vehicles across its motor finance and leasing firms Black Horse and Lex Autolease, Lloyds Banking Group is responsible for one in 10 battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) on British roads.

Richard Jones, Managing Director of Motor Finance and Leasing, said “As the UK’s market leader in automotive funding and leasing, we have a clear ambition to support the UK’s transition towards a zero-emission future by helping our clients along their journey to electrification.”

“With Meryem and Iryna’s leadership, we will continue to help businesses and personal consumers review their transportation needs and offer practical solutions to support the transition towards electric vehicles.”
