Following on from the successful acquisition of the SIRS Europe in 2018, Carnoustie Resources has announced the acquisition of a second company. CLS Associates (UK) has been acquired after completing successful negotiations over the last 6 months.
CLS was formed in 2006, is based in Kent and provides a range of Investigation services to clients throughout the UK, include Address and Asset Tracing, Surveillance and Debtor location.
The company will join forces with SIRS Europe, and trade under its brand, forming an investigation business with offices in London and Kent, and points of presence in Devon and Yorkshire.
Speaking of the merger of the two companies, John Wood Director of SIRS Europe said “Within the business of tracing individuals or assets, or providing investigation services, economy of scale is extremely important. The more traces you do, the better you get at it”
“We were keen to bed in the SIRS Europe business before looking further, but now that’s done and CLS have joined, we’d love to find more like-minded businesses that feel they would benefit from our increased resources.”
SIRS Europe are one of the few ISO27001 Approved Investigation and Discovery companies in the UK, having been set up in 2010 and formerly part of the Begbies Traynor Group plc. Their clients range from solicitors, insolvency practitioners and finance companies through to councils, debt collection companies and private individuals, and for the last four years, has a contractual relationship with a major Government body for the provision of Tracing and Process Serving services.
