Credit & Collections Technology Awards announces line up

26th October 2021

Credit Connect has confirmed the line-up for next week’s Credit & Collections Technology Awards which takes place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester next Thursday (4th November).

The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts who have reviewed technological excellence in four different categories sections: creditor and lender, collections and recoveries, applied technology, and innovation leaders. The shortlist this year presents 115 finalists from over 70 companies. The finalists have been decided by a panel of esteemed experienced industry leaders using a unique judging process. Credit Connect’s panel of judges are chosen based upon their industry background providing a view from lenders and collections. This year’s Judging panel profiles can be viewed here.

The Awards, organised by Credit Connect and will be preceded by the inaugural face to face Credit & Collections Technology Think Tank which will take place prior to the Awards.

The Think Tank and Awards bring together credit and collections technology executives to honour the industry’s leading players. The technology focused-Awards scheme seeks to champion innovation and best customer outcome solutions.

Judge Bob Winnington Chief Executive Office at MALG said “It was my pleasure to support with the judging again this year. As a broad overview, I feel the standard of the submissions is improving year on year which I feel is a testament to the feedback process and the general uplift in business customer awareness.”

Finalist Darren Swailes from CCS said ”CCS are overjoyed to be shortlisted again this year and to take part in the Credit Collections and Technology Awards. These awards are industry-specific, well respected, and therefore prestigious for those who enter and are fortunate enough to be shortlisted or win.“

Simon Gregory Data on Demand said It feels great to be shortlisted as a finalist. “A great deal of hard work goes into scaling a new business and we are proud to be recognised for the work we are doing and more importantly how we are enabling our clients to enhance their own services.”

Managing Director John Hughes from Mann Island said “Mann Island Finance has been on an exciting journey reinventing itself from motor finance broker to full-scale mainstream lender. Root and branch change across the business saw impressive growth over the last year. Now, the Credit & Collections Technology Awards present a fantastic opportunity to benchmark the significant investment in time and imagination we have committed to digitising our business. We are thrilled to have been shortlisted.”

Whilst Cynthia Gebeily, General Manager at Cedar Rose said “Cedar Rose is delighted to be named finalist at the Credit & Collections Technology Awards, particularly in the Anti-Fraud solution category and the Credit Reference & Information solution category. Being recognised as innovators and leaders in these two categories is a great honour to our company”
