Scottish business insolvencies rise by 5%

Latest figures from Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) have shown that business insolvencies increased by 5%.

In November 2024, there were 114 business insolvencies registered in Scotland, 5% higher than the number in November 2023.

The insolvencies comprised of 55 CVLs, 54 compulsory liquidations and five administrations.

There were no CVAs or receivership appointments.
