Registry Trust appoints Interim CEO

21st February 2019

The Registry Trust has announced that the board has appointed Lex Jones as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from March 1st. Jones joined the Registry Trust from the Financial Ombudsman Service in 2017.

The news follows current Chief Executive Officer, Nick Rossiter’s decision late last year to take early retirement on health grounds Rossiter will be on hand to support the new Interim CEO until he retires in July 2019.

Announcing the successful outcome of the search, Registry Trust’s founding Chairman, Malcolm Hurlston CBE, said:”Nick Rossiter has been a great servant to the Trust and latterly leader. We are appreciative of his achievements and more than pleased that he will be on hand to help Lex in the early stages of her new role.”

“Lex Jones is now in-line to become its fourth chief executive since 1996. She will receive every support from myself, my successor Mick McAteer – the current deputy chairman and, of course, Nick Rossiter.”
