Duff & Phelps has announced that it has promoted five existing managers within its UK Restructuring Advisory practice to the role of Director, further strengthening the UK team.
The promotions of Simon Shipperlee, Rob Goodhew, Mike Lennon, Mike Parsons and Martin Graycome on the back of Duff & Phelps’ announcement earlier this year of its global Restructuring team expansion. In February, Duff & Phelps acquired both Zolfo Cooper Asia, a leading independent provider of restructuring, insolvency, litigation support and forensic accounting services in China, and Forest Partners, a leading Spanish independent provider of forensic and litigation support, restructuring and financial and corporate advisory solutions.
In addition, Duff & Phelps recently announced a number of high-profile hires to the team, including the appointment of Ben Collett and Tyrone Courtman as managing directors in its UK Restructuring Advisory practice.
David Whitehouse, Managing Director and Head of UK Restructuring Advisory, Duff & Phelps, said “Duff & Phelps’ Restructuring Advisory team is rapidly growing and going from strength to strength not only in the UK, but across the world, and these promotions are reflective of the great talent that we have. Each of these individuals is highly experienced in corporate restructuring and insolvency processes and will continue to provide outstanding advisory work.”
“We currently have a particularly turbulent market in the UK, with factors such as the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the early indications of a global economic downturn, which are causing businesses to face difficulties. Having access to a robust team of market specialists enables us to provide the expertise affected businesses require to see them through challenging times.”
“Our team today now includes over 200 restructuring and insolvency professionals stretching from the U.S., through the UK, Ireland and Spain, to Hong Kong and beyond – a truly global footprint.”
