Court Enforcement Services announces business development appointments

Court Enforcement Services has announced that Michael Whitaker promoted to a newly created senior role as Director of Business Development. He will report directly to Wayne Whitford, Director.

In his new position, Whitaker will oversee the management of all aspects of the Business Development team. This senior role involves developing the team and providing strategic guidance as directed by the board.

Wayne Whitford, Director said, “I am delighted to promote Michael into this new and important role. Since Michael joined us, he has become an integral part of the Team and Company. He successfully brings new business and maintains Client relationships with professionalism and courtesy alike. He, I believe has added great strength and in this new role will widen this theme across the whole Department.”

Separately the company has appointed Irvine Pickett as Business Development Manager.

Pickett has extensive experience in the development of new business in the High Court Enforcement sector and prior to joining held a senior business development role at The Sheriff’s Office for 10 years, where he managed and was responsible for a wide range of commercial clients, many in the legal and property management sector.

In this senior role, Pickett will report directly to Michael Whitaker, Head of Business Development. Irvine’s previous roles involved account management and business development at Leeds Building Society, Bristol & West Plc and Future Mortgages.

Michael Whitaker said, “We are very pleased that Irvine is joining us, and believe he will fit in very well indeed due to his experience and approach. His extensive client care skills and commercial awareness will be a significant asset to the company and the business development team. Irvine is well known and respected in the industry for his knowledge of all areas of High Court Enforcement and Property/Land Enforcement.”
