Quantuma appoints new Director

11th November 2020

Business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Fred Satow as Director at its London office as it continues its expansion across key regions.

A chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner, Satow has gained over 30 years of experience in the restructuring and insolvency arenas, at a range of Big 4, top 20 and boutique firms.

Most recently, he was a Director at MHA MacIntyre Hudson, where he acted as joint administrator and liquidator for a number of major cases, including Wimbledon Development Finance Limited, which resulted in the successful collection of £7m in loans.

Satow has also worked as an expert witness throughout his career, regularly acting in professional negligence and other insolvency-related cases, including a recent case with Clyde & Co, which saw another law firm face a very substantial claim.

Based in the firm’s London office, Satow will be working in the restructuring and insolvency team to develop the company’s Corporate Simplification practice, and advising a wide range of clients, including large corporates, SME businesses, lenders, venture capital houses, and solicitors. Alongside this, Satow will continue to act as an expert witness, and work closely with the firm’s forensic accounting and investigations team.

Carl Jackson, CEO at Quantuma said “Fred’s restructuring and insolvency experience will be incredibly invaluable to our firm and I am pleased he is joining what is a rapidly growing team in London. Fred’s appointment will also help us to continue to expand our Corporate Simplification offering, working alongside our financial advisory and restructuring teams.”
