Good Energy have announced the appointment Nigel Pocklington as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will succeed Juliet Davenport as CEO from 1st May.
Pocklington is a widely experienced senior executive with a strong commercial, digital, and operational track record spanning over 25 years. He most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Moneysupermarket Group plc. Prior to this, he held a variety of senior roles within Expedia including President of eBookers and Chief Marketing Officer of Hotels.com. He spent a decade of his early career at Pearson plc, including a period leading the digital operations of the Financial Times.
Pocklington is also a Non-Executive Director for Kin + Carta, a global digital transformation business focused on helping make the journey to becoming a digital business tangible, sustainable and profitable, where he chairs the Remuneration Committee and is a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.
Juliet Davenport will remain on the Good Energy Group plc Board, stepping down as CEO and taking up the role of Non-Executive Director of Good Energy, while remaining Chair of subsidiary Zap-Map.
