Latest monthly statistics from the Insolvency Service have indicated that Northern Irish personal insolvencies and business insolvencies increased in September.
The figures showed that there were 22 company insolvencies registered in Northern Ireland, this is double the number in September 2021, but 39% lower than September 2019.
This was comprised of two compulsory liquidations, 18 CVLs and two CVAs. There were no administrations and no receivership appointments.
There were 152 personal insolvencies, 24% higher than in September 2021, but 52% lower than in September 2019.
This consisted of 120 IVAs, 24 DROs and eight bankruptcies.
