Opus makes two appointments and opens Nottingham office

Opus Business Advisory Group has announced that it has opened a new office in Nottingham.  The Group provides restructuring and insolvency, corporate finance support.

The Group has also announced the appointments of Louise Freestone and Paul Mallatratt, two experienced local restructuring & insolvency specialists, to open the Group’s latest office in Castle Gate, Nottingham.  With existing offices in London, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne, this latest addition provides increased geographic coverage and additional capacity to deliver projects.

The Group launched in 2013 – from 5 partners and 2 locations at formation to 19 partners and over 40 team members in 9 locations.

Freestone and Mallatratt each have over 15 years’ experience in the insolvency market. Freestone focuses on corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments, as well as the solvent winding up of companies. Mallatratt is a personal insolvency specialist; whose background includes many years working for the Government’s Insolvency Service as a Deputy Official Receiver.

Both are anticipating that 2021 will bring exceptional challenges for businesses and individuals, as the full impact of the pandemic on their finances becomes clear.
