The Initiative for Financial Wellbeing (IFW) is announcing plans to support people with managing their financial wellbeing as they consider their financial resilience during the current crisis. The IFW has already begun sharing budgeting, money saving, and income maximising tips via its website and social media.
The newly launched Financial Coaching Stream is working on a package of financial wellbeing support including:
The majority of support options will be provided at no cost to the end user. IFW is seeking financial contributions to provide access to everyone that needs it. Anyone interested in supporting our work is invited to get in touch via the website or via a member of the IFW team.
A significant response from the public and employers is expected. IFW Executive Member, Catherine Morgan, comments “It’s during times of uncertainty that we need to focus on helping consumers feel more confident navigating their relationship with money as much as the practical steps. Our thoughts and behaviours are at the core of financial wellbeing.”
IFW Chairman, Chris Budd, said “Financial wellbeing – how to use money to maintain and increase happiness – has surely never been more important than right now, during the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Any individual or organisation interested in accessing IFW services once live should email hello@ifw.org.uk. A member of the IFW team will be in contact once we are ready to take bookings.
