Jaywing Risk Consulting has announced that it has appointed Saghir Khan as its new Strategic Partner, strengthening the leadership team.
Khan, who began his career in banking as a trainee with JP Morgan in the late nineties, has worked with the likes of UBS, KPMG and Accenture, across banking and consultancy.
Khan holds extensive experience in running change transformation programmes, overseeing a large scale outsourcing programme for a Tier 1 investment bank at KPMG and leading a team of over 100 employees to design and execute a regulatory programme for one of the ‘Big Four’ UK banks at a boutique risk consultancy agency.
Ben O’Brien, Managing Director of Jaywing Risk Consultancy, said “I am delighted to have Saghir Khan on our team. He will be a valuable asset to our team, and will greatly benefit our larger programmes of work, such as the accounts we hold for tier-one banks.
“Throughout his career, Saghir has proven that he can provide demonstrable results in Risk, and excellent leadership and decision making. He has a breadth of expertise IFRS 9, Stress Testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, Risk Appetite, Basel Regulations, Fraud prevention and IRB, as well as overall risk strategy. We predict this will be a powerful asset to our growing team and shape our work with our larger client base.”
